Kerpoof is a website that helps you decorate colorful scenes easily by dragging and dropping little creatures and objects onto pre-made backgrounds. The fact that you can print out your work in the form of a coloring book page makes this great for kids and their parents.

I found myself a bit frustrated today while doing some research on a couple of websites I was thinking of creating a screencast for.   I understand that when something is labeled “beta” that it means there may be some bugs that need fixing or some features may not yet be available.  That’s all fine and dandy folks but not putting a notice that these features are not yet available is a big fat waste of my time.  Not only my time but the time of other people who may want to use your service for one particular feature that was advertised.  If you have something listed as part of your service but it’s not yet live, please let the world know.  Don’t make me email you wondering if something needs fixing when it’s not even ready yet.  Put a big “coming soon” or “soon to be added” sign across whatever isn’t available.  Otherwise some users, like me, most likely won’t keep checking back to see if everything is up and running.

Serph is a buzz tracking search engine that can help you find out what people are saying about your company or product. It searches social media and news sites like Technorati, digg, Feedster, and del.icio.us and gives you results, quickly. This screencast is very short, just about a minute, but I wanted to show you serph because it’s my job to show you cool things I find on the web!

Please don’t run away.  Screeniac is getting a makeover and I would love your comments and suggestions on what you’d like to see.  Like, does it make you want to cry, does it make your eyes hurt, or does it make you roll your eyes and think, “they really need to hire a professional”.  This could just be a test to see if you’re paying attention…but it’s not.  All I ask is that you have patience and stick by me during this change. :)
