A hurricane in Seattle?
Since I moved to Seattle in August the weather has continued to be record breaking and insane! We just had a very scary wind storm here late Thursday night. I’ve been without cable for the past few days which means no t.v. and no internet. Boohoo for me right? Wrong. There are thousands of people in Western Washington right now with no electricity, and it’s cold out here folks. I’ve never felt so guilty saying “I’m cold” and then proceeding to turn up the heat. We have electricity and now the cable is back on but we have a rather large piece of metal, that the wind tried to take, bent in half and hanging off the side of our roof. I think it’s funny that they’re calling what we had a wind storm. If we were in Florida I think it would’ve been called a hurricane.

Thanks Josh. I’ve never seen anything like it! I lucked out big time not loosing power for too long. But seriously, I had no idea how much I relied on the internet. Thankfully, on the days I was forced into the outside world on my own without even the comfort of a Google Map it was sunny and beautiful. Driving around Seattle still confuses the heck out of me!
